Financial Controller - This challenging opportunity has arisen due to a sustained period of accelerated growth enjoyed by our client. With matrix management of an existing group finance function, the following are the key attributes the successful applicant will be expected to demonstrate:

• Part qualified (CIMA would be an advantage)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Confident, proactive, strong attention to detail
• Assist in preparation of business plans, budgets and financial statements
• Work on large business projects/acquisitions/ due diligence
• Work and develop In House packages and business modules
• Cost management, cash flow, forecasting/company debt appraisal
• Review working practices and procedures to identify and implement process improvements
• Working to strict deadlines
• Assist in maintenance and reconciliation of nominal accounts
• Identify key considerations with impact performance profitability i.e. excessive overheads, staffing, poor capital management

The role will be based in our client’s Luton office
Salary: Between £32K and £35K
Hours of work: 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Thursday, 8.30am to 5.00pm Friday
