Technical Project Manager: Our Client are looking for looking for an experienced business intelligence / data-based Technical Project Manager to join their existing team. You will work with their clients across the UK and be based out of either their London, Edinburgh, Chester or Leeds office. 

Who They Are: Our Client is a Data Management and Analytics consultancy, working with leading BI software vendors to enable their clients unlock value and insight from their data. They have over 140+ consultants working across Banking, Retail, Local Government, Life & Pensions, and Insurance sectors around the UK. Their consultants work with technologies such as SAS, Microsoft SQL Server, Python, R, Qlik, Tableau, and Power BI to name a few.

Who You’ll Be: 

• Significant experience and proficiency in: 
 A methodology-agnostic, pragmatic approach to Technical Project Management 
o Strong project management experience in a traditional and/or agile environment 
o Dependency management and tracking 
o Developing strategies and approaches for best practice delivery 
o Strong technical knowledge and understanding of relational databases 
o Understanding of testing and quality assurance 
o Defect Management 
o Acceptance Testing 
o Problem Resolution and Risk-based prioritisation 
• Able to drive direction on governance, controls and framework to deliver business acceptance and value 
• Awareness and experience of Data Quality, Data Migration and/or Data Reconciliation project deliveries 
• Experience in negotiating scope and priority of projects with project teams and customer stakeholders 
• Experience in Relationship and Stakeholder Management 

What they are looking for 

• Project Management Certifications 
• MS Project experience 
• Experience of data management and replication across multi-site organisations 
• Experience of release management and test delivery 
• Played a leading role in the delivery of end-to-end projects 
• Familiarity with different development methodologies (e.g. waterfall, agile, scrum) and DevOps 
• Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts (ETL, Star Schema, slowly changing dimensions) 
• A detailed understanding of Technical Business Analysis (Requirements Gathering, Business Case Preparation, and Documentation) 
• Financial Sector experience
