Marketing and Sales Manager
To promote the establishment for exclusive use to the Corporate and Private Business sectors
and to achieve financial targets.
To represent the establishment in all aspects of marketing and business promotion.
•Responsible for the planning, production and execution of sales programmes to generate business
•Actively meets and sells to potential clients;
•Trains, develops and directs sales personnel;
•Submits weekly sales figures and forecasts; compiles departmental budgets and forecasts;
•Conducts sales meetings;
•Is constantly aware of competition, market trends and rates;
•Ensures that the Events team have the necessary collateral and sales aids to fulfil their function;
•Must be educated to GCSE/O’Level standard
•Professional qualification is desirable e.g. C.I.M. etc.
Work Related Experience
•Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in a senior Sales and Marketing role ideally within the five star hospitality industry;
•Excellent, concise and professional telephone manner essential;
•Must possess exceptional communication and organisation skills;
•Proven track record of achievement of sales targets;
•Previous experience in the formulation of budgets and other financial information is essential;
•Proven background in creating and maintaining professional relationships with external marketing companies and other business associates.
