JOB TITLE: Marketing Assistant
1. MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
Support the divisional marketing team in delivery of marketing activities.
2. POSITION IN ORGANISATION
Reports to Brand & Marketing Manager but also provides regular support to Brand & Communications Manager and Head of Marketing.
3. SCOPE OF JOB
Administrative/Operational
- Administrative and project management support to both the Brand & Marketing Manager and Brand & Communications Manager to meet marketing team deadlines.
- Be responsible for the raising of purchase orders and organisation of an electronic project log system for each of the marketing projects; ensure correct cost allocation and accruals are in place
- Collate and check all supplier invoicing against purchase orders to ensure costs allocated to the correct marketing code/brand.
- Regularly liaise with various departments and teams to ensure that the appropriate marketing collateral (leaflets, brochures, posters etc) is available.
- Providing weekly reports, analysis and evaluation for online consumer social networking forums as required
- Record website Google analytics information for all key business brands for production of monthly reports or business information.
- Maintain individual brand photographic database including uploading artwork and images to the Brand centre
- Organise and take minutes at marketing meetings
Marketing/Internal & External Communications
- Responsible for the design of quarterly customer newsletters for other divisions as required
- Assist with the development, co-ordination and implementation of branded literature for all brands.
- Assist with the development/production of internal company communication helping to copywrite / edit to meet overall business objectives.
- Assist in the co-ordination of all staff submissions for Group internal employee communications.
- Interface with the personnel and training team to assist in the coordination of marketing materials for employee training, recruitment and communication initiatives within the business.
- Assisting in the development of company responses to form press releases for both external media and our own brand websites
- Supply content for the company intranet for divisional pages.
- Ensure that Company information is kept up to date and consistent on the intranet, and various divisional websites, press materials and any supporting documents
- Assist with or take individual responsibility for projects to support the marketing team at both divisional and group level.
- Assist with a range of marketing activities as requested, including:
- Key publications distribution rota.
- Preparation of reports and presentations
4. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY / ACCOUNTABILITY
Marketing Programme delivery across the division, within budget.
- Liaising with local teams to ensure appropriate collateral is delivered in response to demand.
