A leading independent provider of Consulting, Software and Solutions to the mid-size business market is currently looking to recruit a motivated Project Manager to engage with a number of our key clients.
Reporting to the Head of Projects you will be responsible for overseeing a number of major projects being undertaken within the company and ensuring that consistent methodology and best practice is being followed by the consulting team throughout the project lifecycle.
Specific activities to be undertaken will be:
• Ownership of the overall project
• Client meetings and regular communication of progress and status
• Proactive management of risks and issues
• Oversight of the consultants undertaking the work and quality assurance of their deliverables and documentation
• Management of the project planning process and coordination with project office resources
• Support of the continued rollout of the group project management methodology and implementation of appropriate controls to ensure their adherence
• Attendance at the monthly Project Managers Meeting reporting on key projects’ status
In addition to this you will:
• Have Project Management qualifications (PRINCE 2 or similar)
• Have at least 2 years’ experience delivering ERP solutions
• Have a track-record of managing large projects on time and on budget
• Be comfortable managing and coordinating multiple internal and client project resources
• Have natural ability for customer relationship building and influencing an experienced team of consultants.
• Be highly proficient with regard to project management methodologies and processes
• Have a sufficient level of technical ability and knowledge to be able to understand the proposed solution and translate that into a ‘joined-up’ vision to the client and the consulting team.
• Have the ability to drive the solution through to completion, taking ownership of the vision and seeing issues through to resolution
• Have a good understanding of basic accounting and business principles
• Be commercially aware
• Knowledge of CRM, MRP or HCM would be very beneficial Salary will be subject commensurate with experience and will include healthcare option, car and a fully expensed mobile phone.
