Our client is a well established company within the logistics industry
They are currently looking to appoint a new business sales executive.
Working as part of a team of 4 the successful applicant will be responsible for cold canvassing companies based in the UK and Western Europe that are exporting or importing, promoting the services of the company, calculating freight quotations and winning new business.
Once the new business is acquired you would be responsible for understanding the true potential of the client and maximise the business by performing an account management role for a period of six months.
Once you have fully maximised the accounts you will pass the contact over to the operation team. The role may require face to face client visiting throughout the UK and Western Europe.

The candidate will ideally have experience of European road transport or freight forwarding. Proven new business sales experience is essential by way of cold canvassing and face to face sales. The candidate must be presentable, professional, self motivated, numerate with good organisational and IT skills including Excel, Power point and Word.
