A leading and rapidly growing specialist Tour Operator to the USA is looking for a Sales Support/Administrative Assistant to help perform daily and scheduled administration and support tasks in order to ensure the smooth running of the office operations. This is a highly varied role, which will see you taking on board many different responsibilities.
Your role will include the following:
- support sales staff by preparing all client documentation including travel documents
- handling sales enquiries from our concierge service and generally dealing with client post sale enquiries
- collecting and sorting all incoming email enquiries and replying to basic enquiries
- data input of hotel and other contract details into the back office system
- distributing brochure requests
- monitoring the progress of confirmation requests
- manage & organise the in-house filing system
- general daily maintenance of the office
The right candidate will:
- have excellent written and verbal communication skills and telephone manner
- be organised and have experience of working in an office environment
- experience within the Travel Industry would be advantageous but not essential
- have the ability to cope well under pressure and at the same time maintain high team spirit
- have a high level of accuracy and excellent attention to detail
- be a self motivator and have the ability to work on own initiative as part of a small and friendly team
In return you will receive a good basic salary and highly discounted travel to the USA. The role is Monday to Friday but we would consider candidates who need flexible hours of working, including part time.
