Technical Test Analyst (flex office / remote options): Preferred Experience

• At least two years’ experience of testing in a TDD environment e.g. pairing with devs to collaborate on test design
• ‘Test first’ mentality, and the willingness to champion testing throughout the SDLC
• Solid understanding of automation concepts i.e. what should/shouldn’t be automated and a desire to expedite repetitive tasks using an appropriate automated solution
• Experience of creating, maintaining and running of automation tests
• Experience of building a test automation framework
• Good working knowledge of at least one programming language e.g. Java, PHP
• Good understanding of REST APIs and their concepts e.g. HTTP methods and response codes and the ability to write performance and regression tests for these and interpret the results;
• Ability to create and contribute to acceptance criteria in conjunction with technical product owners;
• Solid understanding of manual test principles including Exploratory Testing and Session Based Test Management
• Good working knowledge and experience of performance testing.

As Product Owner, you will provide well crafted, resilient online products that optimise the customer journey. The role includes identifying, sharing and spreading best practice throughout the business, and demonstrating excellent teamwork.

Digital / Web Analyst required by our multi-award-winning Client: Offering commercial experience as a web analyst / developer; you will demonstrate an analytical approach, be determined and passionate about delivering commercial benefit. A pro-active approach to analysing data is expected to be able to get into the detail and present conclusions. Experience working on high traffic ecommerce websites is a must as is communicating effectively to all levels within the business.

Key Skills:

Core Responsibilities:

• Execute quantitative analysis from multiple data sources to develop hypothesis and challenge assumptions that underpin the strategic direction of the team;
• Develop frameworks and reporting to help assess and prioritise commercial opportunities;
• Work effectively with stakeholders across multiple departments within the business, including developers/product owners/data architects;

DevOps Engineer: This is an opportunity for a talented DevOps Engineer with a strong background in Linux and Cloud Platforms (AWS strongly preferred) to influence / create a DevOps culture in an award-winning employer (within a – relatively – regulation free sector) working in an agile environment with / evaluating bleeding edge technologies.

Technical Skills:

• Experience of working with AWS to support cloud-based infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of key AWS technologies with EC2 as a minimum.
• Experience with the ‘infrastructure-as-code’ paradigm
• Good working knowledge of Linux server configuration, especially Apache or Nginx.
• Awareness of our key development tools, including PHP 7 and MySQL 5.5.

Duties and Responsibilities (not exclusive):

• The role requires the successful candidate to design and develop infrastructure components within an agile team
• The successful candidate would need to take ownership for the automation, deployment and operation of significant layers of infrastructure

PHP Developer: Commercially focused and naturally experimental, you will work within the web development team within the product conversion department to implement changes that will give the customers a best in class experience across all brand websites.

Essential Experience:

 Commercial PHP experience
 HTML/JavaScript
 Experience with MVC frameworks
 MySQL/MSSQL databases
 Version control such as Git/SVN

You will be responsible for generating all ideas that influence change on the website and ultimately decide on your own work, along with testing, releasing and monitoring the impact of your changes on the business – an unusually rewarding role. You will work alongside analysts to deep dive into data to come up with your very own ideas to improve the website, then work with the UX designers to bring your idea to life in concept format, then finally work with senior developers to implement your change and get it live on the website.

Desirable Experience:

 Experience working on high volume transactional e-commerce websites
 Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum/Kanban
 Experience of conversion rate optimisation
 Degree in Computer science or related discipline
