As a IT Operations Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of their digital infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and compliance. You will manage a small team of IT professionals covering Application Support, Project Management, Cyber Security and Testing. Your role will be pivotal in driving the success of our digital projects and maintaining the integrity of their IT systems.

Required Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Digital Operations Manager, IT Manager, Support Manager or similar role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent understanding of IT infrastructure, application support, and digital operations.
  • Experience in managing technical projects and ensuring successful delivery.
  • In-depth knowledge of cyber security principles and compliance requirements.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance processes and methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) frameworks such as ITIL.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP, ITIL) advantageous.

Company policy dictates all Digital Dept members work from their North London HQ twice per week – this is NOT a remote only role.

IT Support Engineer

IT Support Engineer (1st to 3rd Line) – Standalone Function – Mon to Fri in HQ (Thame)

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Support Engineer to join our client’s dynamic team in their Thame HQ. The successful candidate will really be able to make their mark, acting in a standalone capacity with responsibility for providing on-site, first-class technical support to c50 users, ensuring that their systems are always running smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Responding to 1st – 3rd Line technical support queries raised by users via phone, email and in person.
• Providing advanced troubleshooting and technical support for common hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Resolving complex issues related to servers, databases, and (bespoke) applications.
• Identifying and resolving problems related to infrastructure, network connectivity and IT security.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of support requests and solutions.

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar role / working independently providing 1st Line / helpdesk troubleshooting to complex 3rd Line support.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems with emphasis on Windows 2003 / 2008 server and Exchange Server 2003 / 2007 /2010.
• Strong technical skills across Mac operating systems, networking, and hardware troubleshooting.
• Excellent telephone manner and polished client facing experience.
• A Microsoft certification such as an MCSE or MCITP is desirable.

Technical Account Manager

Account Manager – Technology Sector – Cross-selling / Up-selling within existing accounts – £30,000-35,000 + commission (£45,000-50,000 ote)

Our client, a successful, growing Managed Services Provider (MSP), provides managed IT Support, Cybersecurity, Disaster Recovery, Contact Centre and Business Connectivity services to more than 60 UK clients.

Due to continued success, they are now looking to recruit an ambitious Account Manager to maximise services provided to these accounts thus helping expand the business still further.

Supported by the Directors, but working autonomously, you will be responsible for escalating our Client’s relationships with their existing clientele. Commission is uncapped and so there is a great potential to earn well.

The role will suit someone coming from a Technical Account Manager background, OR Pre-sales OR NO SALES experience (but, therefore, must be a techie themselves in order to make the switch to hands-off); someone excited about generating leads and following up on existing business requirements would thrive in an environment offering such freedom.

This is NOT a remote role so all applicants must live within an easily commutable distance of their North London HQ (Barnet).

Technical Project Manager Essential Skills:

• Education and Experience:
o A graduate degree or equivalent project experience.
o Significant experience and proficiency in Technical Project Management.

• Project Management:
o Methodology-agnostic, pragmatic approach to project management.
o Strong project management experience in an agile environment.
o Proficiency in dependency tracking and developing strategies for best practice delivery.

• Technical Expertise:
o Strong technical knowledge within the data domain.
o Understanding of testing and quality assurance.
o Experience with defect management, acceptance testing, and problem resolution.
