The successful candidate will really be able to make their mark, acting in a standalone capacity with responsibility for providing on-site, first-class technical support to c50 users, ensuring that their systems are always running smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities: • Responding to 1st – 3rd Line technical support queries raised by users via phone, email and in person. • Providing advanced troubleshooting and technical support for common hardware, software, and networking issues. • Resolving complex issues related to servers, databases, and (bespoke) applications. • Identifying and resolving problems related to infrastructure, network connectivity and IT security. • Maintaining accurate documentation of support requests and solutions. Essential Requirements: • Proven experience in a similar role / working independently providing 1st Line / helpdesk troubleshooting to complex 3rd Line support. • Strong knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems with emphasis on Windows 2003 / 2008 server and Exchange Server 2003 / 2007 /2010. • Strong technical skills across Mac operating systems, networking, and hardware troubleshooting. • Excellent telephone manner and polished client facing experience. • A Microsoft certification such as an MCSE or MCITP is desirable.
