Open to candidates UK-wide, this ambitious Data Management and Analytics consultancy are continuing their bold growth plans through 2024 and can give a driven candidate plenty of scope to continue to develop their career working with an enviable client list of UK banks and wider financial services companies.

They are a niche Data Management & Analytics consultancy with all the excitement and agility of a new company but with their roots in client partnerships going back many years; successfully working with these companies helping them gain valuable insight from their data and providing analytical reporting to help them achieve their strategic objectives.

They are now looking to recruit Senior Data Engineering Consultants with Technical experience with the following:

  • Demonstrated success in designing, building, and optimising Big Data architectures to support the creation of highly scalable data stores with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.
  • Multi-skilled experience of one or more of the following disciplines: Data Management, Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, Data Modelling, Data Quality, Data Integration, Data Analytics, Data Visualisation, Data Science and Business Intelligence.
  • Project experience in developing optimal and reliable ETL processes ingested from a wide variety of data sources both structured and unstructured and implementing them in batch, real-time and cloud environments.
  • Advanced working knowledge in SQL and relational databases (SAS, Teradata, Microsoft SQLServer or Oracle), as well as working familiarity with a variety of NoSQL databases and cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake.
  • Project experience in handling large-scale databases and real-time data acquisition.
  • Project experience with object-oriented/scripting languages such as Python (preferred), Java, R, C++, Scala.

You will be working with teams of MSBI experts on varied and challenging projects within a client portfolio of Financial Services heavyweights ranging from Tier-1 Investment & Retail Banks to emerging challenger banks and established insurance providers.
