Position Overview: Our Client is seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager (within the data domain:- Data Management, Data Migration, Data Reconciliation, or regulatory implementation) to join their dynamic team. This role is integral to their ongoing projects and offers an opportunity to work in a flexible, agile environment. The ideal candidate will possess a robust blend of technical knowledge and project management expertise, ensuring the successful delivery of projects within their data domain.

Technical Project Manager Essential Skills:

• Education and Experience:
o A graduate degree or equivalent project experience.
o Significant experience and proficiency in Technical Project Management.

• Project Management:
o Methodology-agnostic, pragmatic approach to project management.
o Strong project management experience in an agile environment.
o Proficiency in dependency tracking and developing strategies for best practice delivery.

• Technical Expertise:
o Strong technical knowledge within the data domain.
o Understanding of testing and quality assurance.
o Experience with defect management, acceptance testing, and problem resolution.
o Risk-based prioritisation skills.

• Project Delivery:
o Experience in areas such as Data Management, Data Migration, Data Reconciliation, or regulatory implementation (e.g., PSD2, Basel IV).
o Ability to negotiate project scope and priority with teams and customer stakeholders.

• Stakeholder Management:
o Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills, including experience with senior stakeholders (e.g. Director level and above).
o Capability to drive direction on governance, controls, and frameworks to deliver business remediation and testing.

Technical Project Manager Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and deliver technical projects within the data domain.
• Track project dependencies and develop strategies for best practice delivery.
• Ensure quality assurance and testing standards are met.
• Handle defect management and prioritise problem resolution based on risk.
• Deliver projects related to data management, migration, reconciliation, and regulatory implementation.
