Key Responsibilities:

Required Skills:

 

  • Experience with designing and building REST APIs (ideally with Flask, FastAPI or similar.)
  • Ability to design architectures to meet scalability, reliability and security targets.
  • Good problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development
  • Understanding of best practices, coding standards, and architectural patterns.
  • Experience in automating builds (CI/CD), feature flags and automated testing.

 

Bonus skills:

 

  • Experience with message driven systems (ideally google pub/sub)

They are on the lookout for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to spearhead the creation and deployment of ground-breaking software solutions. The ideal candidate should possess robust technical acumen, impeccable skills, and a track record of successful project execution. As the Senior Backend Engineer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, design, and QA, to conceive, design, and execute top-tier, enterprise-scalable software products that cater to their clients and end-users. While actively coding, you will be responsible for upholding technical excellence throughout development and QA, as well as shaping the architecture of your product domain.

Your role will involve working with various teams to identify and resolve issues, contributing to the overall success of their technology solutions.

Manual QA Tester Key Responsibilities:

Test Planning and Strategy: Develop detailed test plans and strategies for end-to-end testing of software applications, APIs, and physical devices.

Head of IT Infrastructure

Head of Infrastructure (charity / not-for-profit sector) – hybrid work from home & central London (once or twice per week) model. This brand new role has been created to lead a dedicated infrastructure team of four staff members in order to develop and oversee the implementation of the information systems and IT infrastructure strategy, ensuring network security, compliance, and customer-centric solutions and support are in place to enable our charity client to achieve its strategic aims.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and implement the information systems and IT infrastructure strategy as they move to more agile ways of working to support a hybrid workforce across office and remote locations
  • Create and oversee the implementation of annual operating plans
