As a Solutions Developer within the Information Systems and Business Intelligence team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the organisations’ mission.
Working with Salesforce and other key systems you will improve ways of working and develop and improve the current CRM system, which is Salesforce.
In it’s current state, the system is heavily customised and so using your expertise, you will elevate the business information to meet the needs of stakeholders.

To be considered for the role you should have at least 4 years relevant experience.
Salesforce is currently the principal CRM system, but the successful candidate will have varied experience in a range of data and information systems, including ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) concepts and a working knowledge of SQL.
In addition to being a good Developer, you must have a passion for CRM’s and excellent communications skills, as well as the confidence to articulate your ideas to Management and stakeholders, in what is in effect a client facing role.

They are now looking to recruit Senior Data Engineering Consultants with Technical experience with the following:

  • Demonstrated success in designing, building, and optimising Big Data architectures to support the creation of highly scalable data stores with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.

  • Project experience in handling large-scale databases and real-time data acquisition.
  • Project experience with object-oriented/scripting languages such as Python (preferred), Java, R, C++, Scala.

You will be working with teams of MSBI experts on varied and challenging projects within a client portfolio of Financial Services heavyweights ranging from Tier-1 Investment & Retail Banks to emerging challenger banks and established insurance providers.

Test Analyst

Test Analyst (Hybrid remote & client site working model open to test professionals UK-wide so you MUST be already UK-based with full, independent eligibility to work without sponsorship). A minimum of 3 years-experience in testing within Financial Services industry ideally with experience of testing BI / Data Warehouse / Analytics / ETL / Data Migration projects.

Expected experience of Test Analyst / Consultant (UK-wide remote & client site working model):

• A minimum of 3 years-experience in testing, working in the capacity of a test analyst or tester.
• Experience of testing in data-driven environments utilising SAS, SQL skills, or equivalent data querying languages.
• Experience of testing BI/Data Warehouse/Analytics/ETL/Data Migration projects
• Working knowledge of one or more test management tools (licensed or open source).
• Strong analytical skills to effectively translate requirements and technical specifications into quality test artefacts, e.g. test cases, test scripts, test data etc.

Ideal additional experience of Test Analyst / Consultant (UK-wide remote & client site working model):

• ISEB/ISTQB Foundation in Software Testing.
• Excellent SQL skills.
• Full lifecycle testing experience – from System Testing through to Acceptance Testing.
• Project lifecycle experience in the delivery of end-to-end projects, as well as a familiarity with different development methodologies and disciplines (e.g. Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, DevOps).

Business Intelligence Analyst – hybrid remote & London HQ (SE1) working model.

The Business Intelligence Analyst is a new role and will be the business intelligence expert in the team.

You will be responsible not only for the design and production of reports and dashboards that will deliver genuine business insight, but also for supporting the ongoing development and implementation of our client’s management information strategy.

You will be joining at an exciting time for the team, as they drive forward the implementation of a bold and ambitious roadmap for business systems which together will support the operational delivery of their charitable objectives as well as generating the business information which drives their decision making.

Experience, skills and knowledge:

• Experience in a similar role (essential).
• Demonstrable knowledge and track record of learning multiple systems and datasets, then utilising that data to produce impactful business intelligence solutions (essential).
• Experience of advanced use of a BI reporting tool (essential)
• Experience with identifying and managing the impact of data quality issues on business intelligence solutions (essential).
• Approachable to end users and able to clearly explain the uses of business intelligence solutions (essential).
• Creative and with design flair – able to design dashboards and reports which are intuitive and easy to use (essential).

Key responsibilities:

• Build customised, usable dashboards and reports in different systems (principally Salesforce and Tableau) that explicitly support decision making by providing information that answers key business questions.
• Learn and fully understand the data landscape of the Foundation’s Business Systems.
• Understand the end-to-end life cycle of our data to effectively review and validate the data within it.
• Actively participate in and contribute to architecture/design discussions and decisions.
• Support the creation, development and implementation of the management information strategy.
• Gather end user reporting and dashboard requirements.
• Support users with the navigation and interpretation of dashboards, including devising one-off or ongoing training where appropriate.
• Take responsibility of the maintenance and support of Business Intelligence solutions, including the logging, tracking and ultimate resolution of user support requests.
• Provide a consistent and approachable point of contact for users and other stakeholders.
• Create system documentation relevant for business intelligence.
• Proactively identify opportunities for system improvement and business intelligence enhancements.
