Our client is a successful Hertfordshire-based managed service provider (MSP) whose reputation for delivering excellent customer service demands they now hire an additional, Technical Support Engineer to operate within their client support function.

1st / 2nd Technical Support Engineer (hybrid remote & Herts HQ OR fully remote (but must be UK-based with full, independent eligibility to work in UK)) – Operating within a flat management structure, the ideal 1st/2nd Line candidate will:

• Enjoy providing remote and telephone support to a varied client set
• Have the ability to assist with project managing installations and upgrades
• Have a good to very good working knowledge of PCs and Windows networking
• Ideally have some knowledge of Apple Macs
• Be a good communicator
• Have a full driving licence (own vehicle preferred but not essential)

Test Analyst

Test Analyst (Hybrid remote & client site working model open to test professionals UK-wide so you MUST be already UK-based with full, independent eligibility to work without sponsorship). A minimum of 3 years-experience in testing within Financial Services industry ideally with experience of testing BI / Data Warehouse / Analytics / ETL / Data Migration projects.

Expected experience of Test Analyst / Consultant (UK-wide remote & client site working model):

• A minimum of 3 years-experience in testing, working in the capacity of a test analyst or tester.
• Experience of testing in data-driven environments utilising SAS, SQL skills, or equivalent data querying languages.
• Experience of testing BI/Data Warehouse/Analytics/ETL/Data Migration projects
• Working knowledge of one or more test management tools (licensed or open source).
• Strong analytical skills to effectively translate requirements and technical specifications into quality test artefacts, e.g. test cases, test scripts, test data etc.

Ideal additional experience of Test Analyst / Consultant (UK-wide remote & client site working model):

• ISEB/ISTQB Foundation in Software Testing.
• Excellent SQL skills.
• Full lifecycle testing experience – from System Testing through to Acceptance Testing.
• Project lifecycle experience in the delivery of end-to-end projects, as well as a familiarity with different development methodologies and disciplines (e.g. Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, DevOps).

Data Manager / CRM Manager – 12 mth FTC

The Business Intelligence Analyst is a new role and will be the business intelligence expert in the team.

You will be responsible not only for the design and production of reports and dashboards that will deliver genuine business insight, but also for supporting the ongoing development and implementation of our client’s management information strategy.

Experience, skills and knowledge:

• Experience in a similar role (essential).
• Demonstrable knowledge and track record of learning multiple systems and datasets, then utilising that data to produce impactful business intelligence solutions (essential).

Network Engineer (CCNP)

Network Engineer – Cisco: The position requires an individual with strong hands-on experience of Cisco routing, switching and wireless, and who is keen to develop these skills and work towards networking qualifications. You will join an existing team including IT and Network specialists giving you exposure to the bigger picture of the projects you work on.

Our Client transport quality video in real time over IP networks for onward delivery and as such the availability and performance requirements of their networks are very high. Accordingly, you will grow your skillset and experience with many technologies and products such as: EIGRP, OSPF, IPSEC, VPN, Cisco ASA, Palo Alto firewalls, multicast, BGP, Cisco 6500/6807 Switches, Cisco 38XX and 39XX Switches, multi-layer switching, QoS, wireless, ISE, and many more.

Job description:

– Core architecture management for a network that is intended to be carrier grade
– Managing, operating and improving the multisite network for transport of services, as well as the internal campus network
– Customer networking solutions across multiple sites and remote access solutions.
– Network security and firewalls in a rapidly changing environment.
– Creating and maintaining network documentation

Desirable qualifications and skills requirements:

– Technical degree
– Cisco certification CCNP or working towards CCNP
– Experience of the day to day support of a multi-site enterprise grade campus network, any network design experience would be advantageous.
– Network security appliances (Palo Alto/Cisco ASA).
– Experience with Carrier grade routing and switching, including OSPF, EIGRP and multihomed internet access with BGP
– Any background in provisioning private circuits\working with Telco’s\KMZ’s and within a datacenter (Cross connects etc.)

– Good troubleshooting skills, attention to detail and capable of suggesting improvements

The position is based at their site in Central London

The normal working hours are 09:00 to 17:30, Monday to Friday, but additional hours may be required on occasion.
